The College of Education in Ptuj was an active participant in the Employment and Career Fair
occasion Maribor, which took place on October 15, 2026 in the Tabor Hall. The event is
was one of the biggest employment and career opportunities in Slovenia, which
organized by the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia.

We had an exhibition stand at the fairgrounds, where visitors and
visitors learned about our educational program and career opportunities
orientation. Particular attention was drawn to the contents of the stand, which were
represented a link between education and employers.

The highlight of our participation was lecture on the topic "Bionics and the transition"
"Into the Green: Nature as a Technological Blueprint for the Jobs of the Future"”.
The lecture highlighted how natural principles can become a source of innovation and
new jobs in technology and green industries – a topic that is essential for
thinking about the future of our students.

It was a special honor that the stand was also visited by Štefan Kušar, the state
Secretary responsible for the field of labor, and Franc Kangler, State Secretary for
The Ministry of the Interior and Public Administration, responsible for the police,
international protection and migration, demonstrating the importance of our contribution to development
employment opportunities and educational policies.

The fair was an excellent example of connecting educational institutions,
employers and government authorities, and an opportunity for our students,
to encounter practical job experiences and new career opportunities
perspectives.
