The content discusses contemporary concepts of balanced development and the importance of biodiversity. It separately discusses the individual pillars of balanced development - ecological, economic, social and ethical - and meaningfully connects them into a whole. The definition, goals, principles and strategy of sustainable development are discussed.

  •  Social issues and the environment: impacts, pressures, responsibility, risk, environmental ethics, human ecology.
  •  Environment, health and safety: environmental impact assessment, ecology, biodiversity and its conservation, renewable resources, measures to prevent pollution of ecosystems
  •  Biodiversity: assessing the impacts of degraded biodiversity on the environment and humans.
  •  Natural laws: in geo-, bio- and social systems.
  •  Bionka: technological implementations in the field of environmental protection
  •  Ecological footprint: theoretical foundations and practical calculations.
