Based on Articles 6 and 23 of the Act on the Establishment of an Independent Higher Education Institution VŠP and Article 9 of the VŠP Statute, the bodies of the University College in Ptuj are: director, board of directors, senate, academic council, student council and dean.
The Director of the VŠP is the management body. The Director represents and represents the VŠP in legal transactions and is responsible for the legality of the VŠP's operations.
The Dean of the Faculty of Education is the professional leader of the Faculty of Education.
The VŠP Board of Directors is the VŠP management body.
In addition to the tasks specified by law, the VŠP Board of Directors decides on matters of a material nature and ensures the smooth material operations of the VŠP in accordance with the VŠP Statute.
The VŠP Board of Directors has seven (7) members, namely:
- three representatives of the founder,
- two representatives of higher education institutions, one of whom is from among employees who perform higher education activities (higher education teachers, researchers and higher education associates) and one representative of other employees,
- one student representative,
- one employer representative.
The Senate is the highest professional body of the VŠP. It may be composed of those members of the Academic Assembly of the VŠP who are the holders or co-holders of at least one of the pedagogically implemented subjects, so that all scientific disciplines and professional fields of the VŠP are equally represented. By position, a member of the Senate of the VŠP is the dean of the VŠP.
The Academic Council of the VŠP consists of all higher education teachers, scientists, higher education and research associates who are performing pedagogical or scientific research work in the current academic year on the basis of a contractual relationship with the VŠP.
Representatives of VŠP students also participate in the work of the VŠP Academic Assembly.
The VŠP Student Council is a body of VŠP students.
