A thesis is a written product in which a student professionally and in-depthly addresses a question determined by the topic.
The student, after consulting with the mentor lecturer and the mentor in the company, chooses the topic and title of the thesis. We recommend that the topic be related to concrete bionic solutions that are transferred from nature to technology.

The graduate acquires the following knowledge, abilities and skills:
• uses computer bionic processing tools in work procedures and processes;
• decides on professional and business matters and solves problems in the field of bionics;
• prepares implementation plans for bionic systems;
• participates in the preparation and implementation of bionic projects;
• participates in the planning, implementation of updates, monitoring and optimization of bionic and technical processes;
• identifies and analyzes existing bionic processes and incorporates new findings;
• incorporates renewable and alternative energy sources into bionic processes;
• monitors information about bionic processes;
• uses interdisciplinary knowledge of biology and technology to solve concrete challenges in the environment;
• seeks models and solutions in nature for technical problems;
• uses modern bionic materials;
• solves technical problems by implementing nanotechnologies;
• cares about ecology, environmentally friendly sustainable development and biodegradability;
• improves workplace ergonomics and working conditions;
• manages raw materials and waste materials efficiently;
• ensures efficient use of energy.
