Contents:

  • Components of bionic systems - functional and design differences between natural and technical components.
  • Dimensioning of components – types of loads, stresses, selection of materials, safety factors, service life.
  • Non-dismantling joints - welded, soldered, glued and riveted joints.
  • Dismountable connections - bolted connections and shaft-hub connections.
  • Components for transmitting motion - axles and shafts, bearings, seals, and shaft connections and couplings.
  • Drive and transmission parts - friction, belt, chain and gear drives.
  • Actuators – electric motors, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, artificial muscles.
  • Design and selection of components - design, calculation (strength, movement, efficiency), use of catalogs and bills of materials.
  • Manufacturing, assembly and maintenance – instructions for manufacturing, assembly and maintenance of bionic system components.
